Sure the mixed results aint because of the botched job at re-laying the 3rd and 18th greens at old hairy knees golf club. Both have been a complete failure and couldnt be more different from the rest of the course, or even the 6th which was redone a good few years ago now and runs about a foot or two faster than the rest!!!

T.C.you know the place so well!!I've only been there a couple of years but keep hearing people saying that we used to have the best greens around!
Anyway notice that you have a Ping, does that have the same face on it as my latest piece of lovely kit?BTW the magic(?) wand arrives next arrives next week and I'll have to get the shaft cut down!

You could use it to beat off the mountain goats that are reputed to run wild in the Pyreneze! Never seen one myself but they're no' the only hairys to be found in Borrheid!

Im a Ping Anser man all the way - I use a stainless steel Anser 4 in the summer and a heavier Bronze original when the greens are a bit slower. I love 'em - they're a design classic which , in my view has been often copied but never equalled- best of luck with your new one. I hope it's good to you!

....If you come across a dude at your course by the name of Frank Dynes - tell him I said hello! A great bloke but as mad as a box o' frogs

No i dont. However dont listen to the amount of abuse that gets thrown Fereneze's way. Its a good course and a decent test of golf. The mountain goat track tag is also a bit far fetched with the worst climb comming from the 2nd green to the 3rd tee. Once your up your up. Smashing views and an enjoyable course in my opinion.
