Afternoon all,

Anyone use the above phone ? Only asking as one of my kids would like a tablet, I am due a upgrade and get a tablet thrown in with this phone.

Cheers

Midnight...

Got one last Thursday mate, seems okay, has far more on it than I will ever use or need, only downer so far is the lack of the flashlight facility that was on the HTC sensation.

Mrs has one and really likes it, doesnt have the power of the top end phones but seems to do everything she needs with ease. Should be fine unless you need the latest and greatest (or a very large screen)

Cheers dudes, not arsed about anything fancy , as long as I can send texts and have a look at the internet I don't really care.

I have one. I'm not a huge phone user and don't do anything fancy with it but if you're only after calls texts and Internet it's a decent phone. Not as powerful or quick as an iPhone but perfectly functional. Not sure the battery would last long if you're constantly taking photos or playing games.

Definitely does both of those and the display is nice & clear. Might I ask whose offering the free tablet and how much per month?

Nipped into carphone warehouse today to have a look at deals, £23 on a 24 month contract with the tab thrown in . unlimited texts and 500 mins , can't remember the download, it was also with O2 who i am with at the moment. mate

Don't take many photos mate , have a blast on candy crush every now and again.

I'm with O2, sounds like the same deal. I get 750MB, it's a decent network and I just got a free 4G upgrade without even asking for it which makes using the forum much better :D

As you know mate , I am not very technically minded , what is the diff between 3g and 4 g apart from the 1g ?

Interesting, at risk of an infraction is that an 8" or a 10"? :o :D

Cheers mate, as I've got a 14 day cool off on mine I was thinking of going back, but for me I wouldn't be interested in a 7" and for the contract difference I could just about buy it with the monthly difference over the 24 months so I'll stick with what I've got, especially as they looked over the overall package without being asked and saved us nearly a tenner a month. Thanks for the confirmation & thanks for the link fundy.

Free tablet? Not really. My daughter was looking at this phone recently via Tesco Mobile. £22 per month for just the phone or £27 per month with the free tablet. Two year contract, so the £5 per month extra makes the cost of the tablet £120. Cost to buy a the tablet from Tesco? £119.

She got the phone without the tablet and loves it.

It is a decent little android phone. Plenty of features and thanks to the play store there is no shortage of apps for it.

A little plus side for it is the fact it conforms as a DMD.

Get your hands on the Free Caddie and Sonocaddie apps. I have them on a cheap Huawei phone and don't even need a sim card to use it as a GPS. Just download the courses over wifi at home, turn on the GPS and turn phone to flight mode to save battery.

Don't know if there's a flashlight app or widget for it do you?
