I'm looking at changing my very old phone and this one is cropping up quite a bit. I'm used to android and I dislike Apple to no telling me to get an iPhone. Anyone have experience of this model? Any views? Is the Edge worth the extra couple of quid per month?

several of the guys at the golf club with the Edge versions have damaged screens, wouldnt touch it personally based on the very limited few ive seen!

I've had one for a while now. Very happy with it, best phone I've had.

Tell them to buys a case!!

I've had mine since the start of October last year and there isn't a mark on it!

Most people I know with iphones have cracked screens. Dropping them, putting them in your back pocket and sitting on them usually does not end well. I don't tend to abuse my phones so I am not worried about the screen.

The phone itself is quality.

I found the edge a pain tbh. Fat fingers mean that occasionally photos zoom or screen gets confused as two points of course tact between hand holding and finger fiddling....

S7Edge here myself since october or so last year, Its a nice enough phone but preferred my non exploding note 7 but had to return it.
I have a spigen neo hybrid case on mine and nothing protecting the glass and so far so good. I just dont drop it nor leave it face down anywhere.

I have the 7 edge. All very nice although it's like a polished pebble it's so smooth and the potential for it to slip and drop is very high. I'm mostly set up although I'm having problems with my email. The standard app is not allowing either my home or work email to set up. Authentication fail is the annoying answer.

I've googled a lot and all the options have failed. Anyone have issues and sorted it? If so how?

If not what email app did you go for?

For the first time, I've used gmail. No problems here.
