Does anyone have a good technique for this age old advice?

Strangely, off the tee, and then 7i+ off the deck my swing is always the same.

When I picked up a 5i off the deck though I always try and hit it harder, and fail to have much success. It's a mixture of habit and also lack of concentration.

Does anyone have tips on how to stay consistent, and how to concentrate for an entire round. Despite being around the 100 mark, I find myself getting into a groove sometimes when I play 18, but not necessarily a good one!!! Too many mistakes when I am not thinking enough.

Sorry if the above doesn't really make sense... ha ha

What has been said above really. A good Pre-shot routine and some meaningful practice swings to feel swing 'feelings' is a good start. Tempo and setup are normally the key attributes.

Same routine and focus on tempo. I'm trying to slow my swing to a blur this year and when I do keep a smooth temp I strike it so much better. It's common sense but so hard for me to do a lot of the time

I can put a smooth swing(in my head at least) on my 3&5w.
Put a driver in my hand & all sensible swing thoughts go out of the window.
Something I need to work on.

I like to think that the swing is the same. It's what goes on between the ears that seems to change depending on the club!
