Tomorrow we have our end of year breakfast/round of golf/beer fest/curry do for the bunch I play with Saturday mornings. All day event, window in the weather looks perfect, should be a good day.
I'm sadly sitting here with a glass of scotch compiling the stats for the unofficial awards ceremony. Between the 13 of us, we have played 350 rounds (excluding away games) of which 118 have been in club comps. 3 of us have exactly the same handicap as January, the other 10 have all dropped, with the average drop being 0.76. Average handicap is 13.8, all with well established handicaps at the start of year.
I was pretty impressed with that stat - think the betting aspect has made us focus on our games!
