cant blame Sachin for complaining ,he was probably travelling first class and they got his luggage sent to who knows where.
as for BA not knowing who he is is just one of those things ,if you didnt follow sport of any kind you wouldnt know him and whose to say that the tweeter for BA would know of him .
the funny bit is the indians expecting the whole world to know him anyway.

Even if they know who he is they probably need his address to cross check it against the computer system to find out where his baggage has gone. Ridiculous overreaction IMO.

I love the part where one tweeter advises just sent it to Sachin Tendulkar, India and the reality is that would be all that is required. He is practically a deity out there so the poor person at BA not knowing him would send the nation apoplectic. Much huffing and spluttering.

Same thing happened to Maria Sharapova in 2014 when she was asked if she knew who he was during a Wimbledon press conference. She said she didn't and the Indians went nuts at her via social media.

Surely it would have been sensible for the BA bod to apologise and say we will contact you to arrange delivery of your bags or was the bod expecting Sachin to reply via Twitter his address
