Anyone gone into the ballot? Having read the T.O.B's they look very very restrictive or am I interpreting it incorrectly.

1) I can only buy/enter ballot for 1 ticket whether thats a single day or a 2 day or 3 day ticket.
2) I have to register my wife and son seperately with photo ID and they then have to do the same.
3) If for any reason I cannot go (or get a different day to family) then I cannot sell the ticket on.

I didn't go for it after i seen you had to do photo registration. But it does seem like a faff just to get tickets. They will sell out anyway but i think a lot of true golf fans will miss out on the experience of going.

I don't see why they can allow groups of people to register together to make sure they get the same days tickets.

I'm in, along with three of my mates. We all had to register separately, with photo ID and all that guff, but one of my mates is handling the ballot entry for all of us, so if we're successful, we'll get tickets for the same day.

The whole registration thing is a bit of a pain in the bum but it'll be worth it if we get tickets :)

I might be being stupid (but I've not entered the ballot this time or previously nor probably won't in the future) does point 2 mean that essentially your son could be given a ticket when you and your good lady do not?
