Does anybody have any information on tee off times on the practice days?? My ticket covers me from Thursday till Sunday and I'm looking to book time off work. I'm wondering if it's worth my while going up on the Thursday???

Good luck with thatHere's the 2014 schedule: http://www.rydercup.com/europe/event/2014-ryder-cup-schedule-events?atrack=hp_navigation_37
I'm aiming to get to the Balado park and ride for 5:30, hopefully I can find a nice quiet corner, hedge or bush to have a nap in later in the day!![]()
Simbo, I am working at the event and we have not been given a decent timetable for the practice days so we will have to be in situ from just after 6am until 7pm!! The gates open to the public at 6:30.
If I can get a better timetable when I am there from tomorrow onwards, I will try to remember to post it for you.

What's your job allocation? They differ from being on the first tee to being in charge of the bins down at Kinross![]()
I am a Zone Controller. That means I oversee the marshals on a couple of holes (4 & 7) plus keep an eye on the teams that are working the grandstands on my holes.
HH, Are you working at the event?
I'm 51 and I choose not to work a 5 day week ... Never in a million years could I go to work and listen to some halfwit wannabe event organiser wearing a high vis bib (or anyone for that matter) telling me what to do and for the privilege expect me to pay
If I pass you I'll be the one that pats you on the back saying stick in, good luck.
