Ryder Cup Team Rookies

Will the European Team contain a number of rookies as suggested by Harrington in an interview last week-

Will Kaymar & McIlroy make it? or will the older veterans make a strenous effort to make the team?

Westwood will be a shoe-in, good to see him back where he belongs.
I hope Justin Rose gets a debut - no. 6 in the world has to count for something.
Not convinced by McIlroy yet - see how he goes over the next 6 months - he may be another Justin Rose and take a few years to establish himself.

I don't think there will be many rookies. Rose apart, I suspect the team will have a familiar look and feel. Who knows what the coming months have in store though...

Marc Warren, Miko Ilonen would be my outside bets for pushing for a place this year.

Thats 7 rookies in the top 10 at present-i am sure things will change over the next 8 months and the likes of Garcia,Harrington,Donald,Stenson,Casey will play their way in.
