Is there a schedule available for what times the buses will be leaving the park and ride areas?? Do they run every half hour or something?? Iv had a look online but I can't find any details for this.

I suspect with the traffic, they are not running a timed service, but are doing a shuttle eg The bus will leave when full or after X minutes.
First bus to Gleneagles 0545.
Last bus back leaves 21.00

Celtic Manor ran them as a continuous loop (like park and ride at The Open). One bus filled up and set off, next bus starts taking passengers.

All very well organised. Don't worry, just park up and stroll over.

This is my understanding from the meeting I attended at the end of April. I believe the gates do not open to the public until 7am, so perhaps the early buses will be used for the volunteers/workers only.

Ok, cool, I had originally planned on being dropped off near gleneagles as I don't live to far away, Iv now seen this is no longer an option.
Can the people who don't drive make use of the park and ride system??

no pedestrian access to P&R, but you can be dropped off there free of charge.

It also says no pedestrain access to gelneagles.
Or Gleneagles either...

If it's anything like the Park and Ride at The Open Championship, then it will be really worth paying for. Top notch organisation from the R&A for The Open every year!

Aye well, I think my helicopter is staying at home this year.

Iv booked the park and ride . Should be fine!
