Ok we've seen this week that experience cannot compete with youth and talent... we have to concede this Ryder Cup and have to prepare for Italy 2023 but I'm worried.

Gone are the days of the stalwarts... Donald, Poulter, Westwood, Garcia, Stenson, Casey, Rose, McDowell. they have had their day and they have performed well but their time is done... we have reached our peak, maybe even Rory having seen this week's performance.

Where are the European equivalents of Cantlay, Scheffler, Morikawa, Berger, Finau, Koepka, English, DeChambeau, Schauffle, Thomas, Berger...so many quality players who are all young enough to have another several Ryder Cups in them?

Are we looking at Hovland, the Hojgaard brothers, Sam Horsfield, Wiesberger, Lowry, Rahm. .. I'm running out of names now.. worried for 2023 :(

Europe just doesnt have the talent that they have in the USA at the moment. Viktor Hovland is maybe the brightest star, other than that we are some way behind. But hasn't that always been the case :)

Tommy,Hovland Rory Fitzpatrick Noren Molinari to name a few but the US certainly look like they have quality and strength in depth to possibly win the next few unfortunately.

@shanebacon suggested “Migliozzi, Højgaard, Horsfield, Calum Hill, Ludvig Aberg, Alex Fitzpatrick, Maximil Steinlechner, Mats Ege, David Puig Currius are just some of the names that come to mind”

Think 23 you’ve got Rahm, Rory, Hoveland, fleetwood, Lowry, Hatton, Fitzpatrick as your core. Perhaps Garcia too and then one of Rose or Casey as you’d expect one may have an uptick in form.

Hopefully two of those above plus Bob Mc and maybe a Pieters revival?
