Simple isn't it. Printing your Boarding card for Ryanair 15 days before departure.

How many of you have managed to print the card without having a query from Ryanair. It is almost impossible in my opinion.

What do you mean re query ? they do have alot of upsell moments , trying to sell you insurance / proper carry on size cases / car hire etc
It can be a bit tedious all right , but ive never had any problems per say ..

I use Ryanair a bit and once you follow their rules they are spot on .. maybe im just use to them tho ..

they are allocating all seating & introducing quiet flights for the early morning flights from next year on customer recommendations so theyr not all bad .....

(disclaimer i dont work for Ryanair :D)

I've never really had a problem with Ryanair. Even when we didn't print our passes, but did check in online, they allowed us through without relieving us of 60 Euro each (it took a bit of a fight, but we got there).

I have heard from various sources that the reason they always land on time is due to them short-fuelling their aircraft, so if there's any delay they have to declare a fuel emergency and they get straight through to the front of the queue for landing ;)

I think the CAA would have a major issue with that, The main reason that Ryanair land on time is that they have so much padding in the timetable its unreal. Its not just Ryanair that do it I might add.

Nah mate they just allow longer than the flight takes , got some laugh going over to Edinburgh for the GM Titleist fitting , the 6.35 flight took off at 7 and we still got the on time fanfare (you know the one) , i was sat with a Canadian gent and commented only the Irish can leave 25 mins late and still arrive on time ..

I also remember my comment , in reply to his comment on how cheap Ryanair is .. is said sure you only fly 1 fifth of the journey, the boarding gates are that far away you walk a 2 fifths , taxi 2 fifths and fly the rest ..:D

I don't know why I feel the need to defend Ryanair given that they skanked me out of a ticket recently and cost me £90, but of those news sources only 2 strike me as reliable; one of them states that Ryanair only carries the minimum fuel amount required by law (if this isn't good enough the law should be changed) and the other states that the 3 Ryanair planes had to make emergency landings following thunderstorms (that they would have had to fly around) and extensive holding patterns (that would have used up further fuel). Seems reasonable to me.

To be fair I haven't opened the last article but looking at the URL I assume it to be standard Daily Fail overhyped sensationalism...(much like the recent False Widow drama they did a good job of stiring up to the maximum haha).

Ryanair do push the limits of legality, its a well known fact. But it is legal, so they're not actually breaking any rules despite what the Daily Fail try and dress it up. Personally given the choice I wouldn't use them as I think they are a disaster waiting to happen, but thats just my personal opinion.

Indeed... I feel dirty simply posting one of their links ;)

I never said that what they're doing is illegal, just faintly immoral ;)

There is a fake safety briefing doing the rounds at other airlines where Ryanair tell you what to do in case of an emergency along the lines of an oxygen mask coming down, insert a £1 coin and it will start working.

Totally agree. Every flight I have been on with a budget airline vastly exaggerates the time it takes to get from one place to the other. So when it takes them less than 2 hours to fly from Birmingham to Edinburgh they class it is landing early.

I agree. I remember taking one flight wit them and the stewardesses all seemed to be 18 year old Polish females. Now normally I would approve of being surrounded by young female Poles.

But in this case they did not fill me with a great deal of confidence if an emergency would occur and I would have to rely on their calmness and experience. I have no doubt they would have been trained up and nothing illegal at all was going on, but I could not help think they were mostly in that job because they were cheap.

I'd rather pay the extra cash, feel safe and not feel like I was being treated like dirt. And the only reason they are introducing allocated seating is that their rivals are, it has nothing at all to do with the fact that customers have requested it.

what I was saying initially is how many people when they are checking in for a boarding Pass get from start to finish WITHOUT making a mistake in carrying out the process

It isn't that bad if you take your time and read everything carefully. I don't think I've ever made a mistake buying flights, checking in etc...

Last night I bought flights Edinburgh - Marseille for our summer hols :) £112 each return, couldn't resist ;)

Have never ever been treated like dirt by Ryanair, (would be interested to hear how you were treated like dirt ?) ... and ive used them a good bit over the years & if you think Ryanair only do stuff because others do, then you dont know them .

From my experience of them , there was a suggestion of allocated seating from somewhere , possibly customers (as they have being running surveys ) to stop the rush at check in , they went will it cost us money or time ? nope .. OK lets do it ..

They are what they say on the tin , if you read & follow their rules , they deliver
