Am i correct in saying if i have checked in online and have no luggage to hand over i can go straight to the boarding gate without going to the ryanair desks?

Yes as long as you have printed your boarding card on A4 paper and your hand luggage fits in their size and weight allowances

The baggage guides were different sizes at Liverpool and majorca airports, a few angry customers on return flights whose hand luggage had been ok going but then had to pay and put on as luggaged as wouldnt fit at Palma

And the faff to print your boarding card!!!

Customer service and information is awful too I wouldnt fly with them again unless they were the only airline flying to the destination!

Thanks for the reply. Ordinarily I wouldn't use them but i have to go over to Ireland for a couple of hours so I won't have any luggage

Make sure you print both your in and outbound boarding passes. if you forget they charge you something like £60 to check you in!!!

Strange crowd Ryanair mate but if you stay within their T&C you will find them good value ..id choose aer lingus most times but Ryanair will get the job done for ya .. if you buy anything over here or duty free they consider carrier bags a s luggage and you only get one bag per person .. enjoy the green isle..

Think they've changed the rule on duty free and you can take 1 carrier bag on, maybe that's just if you buy a bottle of coke and a choccie bar instead of something serious!
