Morning all!

Having just took my clubs out of the shed for the fist time in a few months, i have noticed rust spots of the heads of the clubs, how can i remove these unsightly marks?

Many thanks

Welcome to the forum Kinger,

I use 800, then 1200 wet and dry glass paper. The 800 gets the rust and raggy bits off the face and the 1200 gives you a mirror finish. It will take about 30 omins to do all your irons with both options of W&Dry but its worth it.

Wet the paper and gently rub along the lines of the grooves. DO NOT criss cross as this will make the face look scuffed. The ironswill come out looking like new.

PS

You may want to leave the rust on your wedges and 9 iron as this will give you more spin on approach shots.

Hello all

Just a little tip from a friendly greenkeeper!

Some products we regularly use on the course generates rusting, I would suggest wiping your clubs, particularly your putter after play just in case.

Hope your all enjoying the sunshine!
