Before I start, yup minors not miners. Well that is what is said on the ticket.
anyway, the sands of time have been a lot kinder to some than others.
Some are no longer with us.
But it was good to catch up with some lads I have not seen for years.
The jocks and Geordies have made there money and are going or have gone home.
Some have got bigger and are riddled with ailments.
Some are being entertained inThailand for three months a year.
Some don't know it is 2017.
It was a glad but sometimes sad evening.

Ever met any of the lads in later years and thought am not doing to bad am I.

People tell me I've hardly changed. Same red hair and hairy feet. Although it doesn't say much for their eyesight.

There's reunion today, all day, at the rugby club I played at 42 years ago. I was tempted but flights and hotel costs make it a bit too expensive. Saw a photo last week of the remaining team members from the cup final side of '77. I recognised one person out of the ten in the photo, and that's only because we've met a few times down the years.

Interesting that this thread was started on the day the UK powered the national grid without coal for the first time in donkeys years. You guys are part of history 😁👏👏
