Was invited to play as a guest there yesterday, so much different to my round there last year.
Almost all of the rough has been cut down so I thought there was no real shape to some of the holes.
The sleepers on the bunker at 4 have gone, I think this is a change for the worse, but I can understand how it cuts down the maintenance of it.
Lots and lots of bunkers out of action, was told this was an ongoing program, wonder if this is in prep for the next open there (2020 ?)
Finally, the greens were some of the poorest I've played on this year.
Think the chipping green was the best I saw
