They are a Society, so I assume they booked the course, and didn't just pitch up ? We have Societies nearly every week day at my Club. Check the diary and play around them. Good money for the Club that helps keep subs down.

Assume it was booked as a golf society and so your club should have made this known on the website, noticeboards etc. I think the issue lies with their poor communication and not the people turning up to enjoy a game they paid for
