Royal Grips

I picked up a dirt cheap Eye2 wedge recently and it’s fitted with a ‘Royal Grip’, in a traditional wrap style. I have to say, I absolutely love the feel of it!

Before I decide to take the plunge and buy a few too try on my woods, does anyone have experience of using them? Do they wear well? And most importantly, how are they in the wet?

Having to climb a large fir to recover my gap wedge one wet autumn day is testament to that statement!

Is there no alternative? Love wrap grips but don't want something that will end with me falling arse first out of a tree

Winn grips are a bit softer than others but its probably the closest I can find for you.
