Just wanted to get some views of this course from any members or folks who've played it? Could potentially be close to the new house and hadn't noticed it on the radar before.

flies under the radar. Hear it is decent but clubhouse and facilities amazing - Snelly can give more flavour. Went to the club in Pall Mall with a work colleague who is a member - it is a very classy place - they have many bedrooms and also cheap accommodation near the pool like an army-barracks style dorm - but at about £30 in central London to rest your head after a few sherberts, I was tempted to get my name on the waiting list!!

The course is reasonable, in fact there are two courses. A pleasure to play in a charming setting with some of the biggest greens in parkland golf that I have ever seen. That said, it doesn't quite feel like it has that cosiness of a members club like West Sussex has for example.

From a wider perspective though, the RAC takes some beating as an all-round club to be a member of. The restaurants are brilliant, the rackets club is one of the top five in the UK and the leisure club is absolutely lovely.

I have made a lot of new friends there and they are a fantastic bunch of people. If I lived anywhere remotely close by then I would join the RAC in a heartbeat.

Highly recommended.
