Went out in the Saturday roll up this morning, perfect weather and all was right with the world....until my round started!
14 points in the first 9 of which 7 came in the last 3 holes and 2 blobs in the first 6.. Couldn't get off the tee and when I did it really wasn't worth the effort! Knifing wedges all over the shot and less said about putting the better.
Second 9 it was like I'd subbed myself for someone vaguely competent! 25 points including missing a put from 1.5 foot on the 18th. 1 over par gross.
39 points in total gave me the overall win and the back nine. If only I could work out how to get that 2nd 9 player to stick around for longer!
