Round of my life.....part two

After shooting my best ever round last month, a 74 gross at Sandford Springs, I followed it up today with my best ever round at my home course.

Gross 76, 5 over par.

40 on the front for 19 pts, this included two double bogeys.

A level par back nine that included an eagle on the par five 10th set up by a 255 yard 5 wood to the fringe and 10 foot put, a birder on 13th with a 15 foot putt, 4 pars and 3 bogeys. 23 points.

Total, 43.

Our greens were rolling at 9.5 on the stint, playing very true and putting was a joy, choose the line, get the pace right and the rolled in.

So pleased my games coming together.

12.2 will probably be 10.2 in the morning after this evenings ESR.

He's a donut!

It was 19 and 24 I know as I marked his card! The wind was strong and he played the best I've seen him, he parred the back nine and finished with great putts on the last two holes. To be fair, it's been coming and if he gets single figures this year, which he should, the only one who will be happier than me will be Mashley himself.

Great round today and as it's the first Honours Board comp of the season I hope 43 points wins it!

Great scoring there but I can't see how it will get a 2 shot cut maybe a 1.4 cut if CSS font move

I'm hoping for an ESR too as I shot 38 pts last weekend, did a supplementary card Friday and shot level handicap, I've also had a net 69 in a medal comp recently too.

He did mention the prospect of ESR.

He clearly learnt a lot by playing with the wrinklies in Belek.

They don't appear scores to flag an ESR

43 points may well flag your "first" one so another round like that and you could get the 2 shot reduction

When I got cut last month from 9.6 to 8.0 with a 4 over gross the system tried to cut me 2 shots esr,
I hope you get the esr cut you deserve it :thup:
