I do not know mate he baffles me at times. I have never been keen on him from the moment he first came onto the scene, thought he was a nasty tempered little big head and having met him a few times can confirm my initial impressions. I agree, with the "isn't it?" at then end, it seemed to me like he was referring to the Murray thing rather than his own response. However, who cares if he doesn't want England to win, he's not English (Plus it's only cricket )

People are going to jump on you when the 'glimmer of personality' you're showing, appears to be the personality of a bit of a helmet.

Edit - I'll just qualify that comment by saying I don't view him as a helmet because he doesn't want England to win the Ashes..... more so for aspects of his behaviour in the past.

I agree it's really a non story - his supposed response is at odds with his attitude to the Olympics.

If he was so anti-English that he'd want them to lose the Ashes the fact that he'd be at least partly representing them in Team GB would make his decision easy.
