Rory Dumps Club in Lake

Rory's game is a bit off at the moment.

He's just thrown his club into the lake.

I guess he's human - how many clubs have you lost - deliberately !!

I've only ever lost one club through anger. Was playing the 12th at Wergs in the Midlands and hit a naff tee shot with my 1 iron. So i went to smack the dome shaped tee block which i assumed was plastic and hollow. It was in fact solid and metal so the club head sheared off and set off down the fairway!

Have had 2 or 3 other clubs where the head has broken off on impact.

It was only a Nike club.......not like it was a proper golf club so no harm done......

Never lost a club in anger (or otherwise TBH).. I don't really understand why anyone would get that wound up.. It doesn't really bother me when others do though.. Can be quite funny to watch...

Oh dear oh dear. Well better watch myself this year with all the juniors around the course firing their clubs all round the place because they saw Rory do it. He could be facing a wee fine for that one.

i don't agree, a lovely throw, good weight shift and lots of lag, lots of power on show.

if you are going to copy a swing, you couldn't go wrong with that one

Yep, once lost a putter up a tree. Lost two rakes too, trying to knock it down. The green keeper rescued the lot on the following Monday.

Breaks tour rules. Very strict on that sort of thing. Applies to European tour too I think
