Has anybody been able to successfully have these clubs adjusted? The pro that was doing this told me that due to the hardness of the metal they wouldn't bend and he was worried that they would snap, apparently he tried so hard he pulled the machine off the vice.

I read on Taylormade they had to make a special notch in the hosel so they could be bent?

When we visited TM said said they could/would bend all of their clubs ... the only possible reason for a pro not bending one is the faint possibility that they would be liable if the hosel snapped. But the custom fit guys at TM were adamant that they were just as bendable as any other club.

i sae them bend Jim and colins on the tour truck, and as you say, that is what the notch is for! sounds like your pro has had a bad experience in bending clubs and is not willing to risk it. go elsewhere!

The RocketBladez Tour irons should move a degree or two. However, after speaking to the guys here they would recommend them be sent back for adjustment, rather than a pro doing it. Put simply, if something goes wrong in the TM workshop, they can build a new club immediately to put with the set whereas a pro doesn't always have that option if they cause damage (or a crack) to the club.

Mine are a degree upright and a degree strong though so like Rooter says, it can be done.

i just acquired a set of these where the lie angle seems incredibly flat and will need to be tweaked upright. i'll maybe be a bit more careful about which tweaker does the tweaking

I had my standard rocketbladez bent 2 degree flat no probs (granted it was the tour guys but same equipment/method regardless), they dont half give them some stick when bending aswell. I am sure they will be fine

Have just received a reply from Precision Golf in Egham

Hi Mark - Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your Pro is absolutely right, they're one of the hardest heads to move and you won't get anymore than a degree out of them and you also run the risk of them snapping. Pretty much any other cast head we could move a couple of degrees but unfortunately not these.

Sorry we can't be of any help on this occasion

@Jimbob, am i right in saying that you work at Taylormade in Basingstoke? Could these be adjusted there?

Does anyone have any other ideas?
