Tested a RBZ TOUR 9' out on the course today, it has a RIP Phenom R11s 60 gram shaft. I'm no expert but am guessing this isn't the shaft it came with when new. Does anyone have any info on it?? much appreciated.

Google it there's tons of info and reviews about them.

Good thinking batman I'll get right on it.. reason I asked was I read on here somewhere (I think) about the stock shaft in RBZ being no good and maybe hence why it was changed.. to the bat mobil lets go!!!

Tried google all about adila shafts, cant seem to find info on the tm shaft.. think I need a lie down now

Kozmos what shaft I find good you may find rubbish....

I had an RBZ and if anything I found the shaft a little bit whippy, you may find it too stiff. Best bet is to try and find one and hit it.

If it's the 'stock' R11S Phenom, then who knows what it's like because they were made to a price point. It may be way out in the flex too.

If it's the 'real deal' Phenom, then it's mid (just about everything) with a smooth feel (stiff butt and tip, softer mid section).

Either way, if you like the feel of it, who cares!

I suspect the previous owner upgraded the R11S shaft (or even the original RBZ) and 'handed down' the one from the R11S.

tbh I find stock taylormade shafts rubbish and change them out,but on mans poison as they say.The RBZ would have had heavier shaft than the RIP phenom, from memory I think it's a 65g mid launch shaft,it's ok but I sapped it out for a miyazaki JDL when I had an r11s and found that to be much better, I just hated the sound!

I doubt TM would have had a heavier shaft than that as Stock. That would have slowed a swing down! Matrix XCon 5 (50gm) - or maybe 5.5 (55 gm) - from memory.

was it not the tour version though? matrix xcon6?
Good point. However the XCon6 that's stock in RBZ is 55gms (so not a 'real' one). And may even have been labeled as 5.5, as I seem to remember seeing that on several, perhaps later ones - TM do tend to release quite a few!
