One of the greatest song writers of recent times leaves us, albeit with a fantastic legacy; Up On The Roof, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, One Fine Day, The Locomotion, Pleasant Valley Sunday, Some Kind Of Wonderful & Take Good Care Of My Baby to name a few.

RIP and thanks for the music.

BBC 4 showed a biography of Carol King just recently - so many timelines classic songs that she wrote with Gerry Goffin - and then came Tapestry and female singer songwriters had their forever benchmark - and what a benchmark.

Every day's a school day......

That's them...well done.
...and here's me thinking you were a young un!

I am......relatively speaking. ;) I just like my music and I like that 60s Mod, pop, soul stuff; got loads of it in my collection. Mind ye, I don't know half as much music trivia as I used to. :(

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow........1961 that song came out, 53 years old.
It was always the 'last dance' at many teenage hops and dances I attended.
It took me about 10 years to work out the meaning of the lyrics.

Ah the days of innocence!
