Football sold its soul for money long ago but (on the face of it) this is a scandalous situation. Can't see it happening in the men's game BTW - there would be an outcry!

Rooter, from what i can gather the FA have set up a 2nd tier to the Womens Super league, and told Doncaster Belles they are being moved into it after over 20 years of top flight football to be replaced by Manchester City who have never been in the top flight.
So even if Doncaster win the league this season they will moved down to the 2nd tier of the Womens Super League and be replaced by Man City!
It's a complete joke by the FA and how they can get away with it is beyond me!

womens football:- grossley underfunded and poorly represented on tv for such a popular sport.
tennis:- can't stand the game so "whats on the other side".
womens golf:- how do they hit so far whilst looking like they're hardly trying. Guess there's more to this game than brut strength

Sorry chrisd, but that's unfair to buffoons, they don't deserve to be lumped in with the FA. Never has an organisation had better initials, it sums up exactly what they know about running the game.
