Ever since that ridiculous over-rated article the lad has been on fire and is now ranked #5 in the World Golf Rankings behind Spieth, McIlroy, Day and Watson. Once again he showed how dangerous he can be when he's in contention. There aren't many guys in world golf that are as exciting to watch as Fowler when he's up there. He showed it at Sawgrass and showed it again last night, gunning down pins and positively rolling his putts at the hole. He's one of my favourite guys on Tour to watch and I hope he goes on and wins a big one next year. How do you rate his chances?

I feel bad for Henrik as he's such a LAD and I really want to see him win a major and hopefully win the tour Championship again, but Ricky was deadly yesterday. Some of the puts he was holing, he had no right to sink.

Over-rated? Don't think so.

If it was a gust of wind that cost Stenson, he was unlucky, but on the other hand, given the position he was in there was no need to go anywhere near the edge in the first place.

I think he got sucked in by the pin position somewhat, but it could just have been a gust of wind...

He's great when he gets into contention, fearlessly going for everything and, usually, pulling it off!

Seems like a nice, well-mannered young man as well. :)

I'd love to see him win the tour championship and take that form into the majors next year!

he's a good lad - I like him, and love the way he goes about his business when he is in contention - he seems like an unstoppable force sometimes, with the victory almost inevitable, he becomes so focused.

I last saw him live at Gleneagles where he was blown away by Rory - it was fun to see Rory bouncing up the fairways, glancing back at Rickie who was 40 yrds back in the distance after every drive! all Rickie could do was wryly smile, and accept the inevitable heavy defeat!

will he win a major?didnt we all say that about Westwood, and Garcia [although Sergio still might do it .Lee wont].
it was Fowlers putting that did the business for him ,Henrik was leaving far too many short .both played well and you could argue a case for either of them but putts for dough.

Possibly, but I would say the real turning point was Stenson putting it in the drink on 16 when 3 pars would have got the job done.

Good finish and pleased to see Ricky win although you have to feel sorry for Stenson. I think Fowler has the potential to win a major but you could say that about a number of players and you hope he can go on and do so

Not only is he one of the best players to watch on Tour, he's also one of the coolest guys on Tour. Seriously, how could you possibly dislike Rickie Fowler?

Big fan of Fowler, good for the game, cool guy, go's for it, and plays some great golf!

Most of all, he is enjoying it! Not one of these player's who constantly say 'it's a grind out there playing week in week out, you just got to try and survive, etc.' Fowler is always saying how 'fun it is out there' and how much he enjoys playing golf and being on tour. It's refreshing.

I like fowler a lot. He's developed into a top player since he started working with Butch. He has an all around solid game that could contend at any of the majors. He's particularly good in bad weather, The Open sets up nicely for him if the wind blows.
Seems to have gained some length recently too, which will help him.

Long been a fan of Rickie. The fact he comes over to play the Scottish Open in preparation for The Open tells me he takes it seriously and he appears to love links golf.

Cracking swing, great attitude and an all-round good guy. Would love to see him win a major. Maybe he could be a modern-day Tom Watson and win a bunch of Claret Jugs...

agree that he will win a Major at some point. His top 5 finishes in the majors in 2014 was great but I think 2015 has been better in some way as he has nailed some high profile wins.
A Jug and/or a Jacket is not beyond him
His burd ain't to shabby either
