I want to use the V2 SHAFT in my driver, in my 3 wood as i am getting a new driver which already has this shaft in it? Looking on the UST website it looks like the same shaft is used in woods and drivers but with 1 inch off the tip in the 3 wood. Anyone know if this is correct? help!

Cheers for any help

Yes this is correct. For woods the same shaft is used, but depending on the wood you trim the tip as per the chart on the website, which is 1" in the case of the 3 wood. Then to get the club the desired length you trim the rest off the butt (waiting for the puns to flood in!).

I am actually in the process of sorting out a new driver and a while back I said I would put some photos up here of my attempt. I'm nearly done so I will post them soon.

So i should be able to get my pro shop to extract the driver shaft and put it in my 3 wood then. Love the V2 SHAFT it just gives such a great ball flight
