I want to try to change my battery for the above tablet.
It seems from a you tube video it's within my skill range!!!
The net is awash with battery suppliers but can anyone recommend a supplier at the cheaper end of the options, in case I make a messup.
Thanks.

If you're intent on doing this, get the real battery for it. A cheap "far east" lithium battery may bring you more trouble than it's worth.

Before you do it are you 100% sure its the battery? I only ask as I changed the one in my mrs galaxy tab, because it wouldn't charge. I assumed it was the battery as we tried two different usb chargers and neither worked. Put the new battery in and it still didn't work. Did a bit more research and it turns out these things don't like usb chargers apparently, no idea why I thought a volt was a volt wherever it came from. Bought a mains charger for it and hey presto, a charging battery:rolleyes:

Horrible job! I did my Google Nexus & it was fine, but really difficult to open. Did my wife's identical one & the battery info showed 42%, all the time. Thought there may be a loose connection so I took it apart again with much difficulty & on reassembly it still shows 42% & the touchscreen doesn't work. Next time I'll shell out the £20 it would take to get an expert to do it.
