As title. Had my Ping G25s for 3 1/2 years or so and used them a lot on quite a thin mat so thinking things may not be as they should be loft/lie wise. Also some are in need of regripping, happy with original Ping grips so happy to return them. Regripped the odd club and it's a ball ache and I can easily end up with the logo off centre!

I have 5-LW nine irons in total, what do you reckon?

Funnily enough, I had mine done at Golf Principles in Basingstoke this evening. 4-PW checked and then lofts and lies adjusted and new Tour Velvet grips all done while I waited, £75 for the lot.

Excellent service!!

Cheers might check them out soon. Just out of interest what was the process for getting them checked?

Not if you use something like Golf Pride 360. No logos.

Just book a session and they will get you to hit balls into the net with a simulator giving all the numbers. After every few shots they tweaked my club until we found the right specs then set all the others up the same. Probably took about 30 mins to get it right then the adjustments were done straight away. I think the loft/lie check is £40 on it's own but money well spent.

It cost me £35 last year at the same place. That was for hitting the balls and then having the clubs adjusted. Well worth a visit if you can get to Basingstoke.

there are usually deals to be had with the major stores and with local club pros. Around the £70 mark is not a bad price - average around £8 for grip, fit and check is reasonable

Paid £40 for lie check and adjustment for all my irons, last year. Best £40 I have ever spent on golf stuff.

Not sure how they compare on grips but AG do they free annual MOT on clubs (is that a loft and lie check?)

Grip wise im sure they have to price match any grip so if you find them cheaper you could match that and say pay them £2 a club to fit or whatever it is

TBH I'm really not sure I would want to trust someone in AG to adjust my clubs, think I would rather pay a bit extra and have it done by a specialist club fitter. After all, we pay loads of money for kit to try to gain a few yards so why save £25 for a cheap adjustment which could wreck your game?

yeah I get what you mean, I had direct golf bend a club for me though and the guy there was really good. Most AG stores have a PGA pro in store (im told) so surely they would have been trained in club maintenance etc
