Gents, oh sorry and Ladies

Having toiled through last winter playing in conditions that were challenging to say the least , water logged greens fairways with more water on than Celtic Manor and frozen conditions!

What is the best regime to improve your game in winter?
Play or practise as I am a very handy 17 handicapper who is taking lessons to improve my weakest part of the game I have come back to after a 20+ year layoff the 120yds and in part.

I really want to try and improve so I would appreciate any ideas that you guys have.

Hit em straight.

I use the winter to strip few more layers of bad faults away and tend to work on my game a lot. I can go out and play with few worries as we only have one stableford per month and test the changes out before the start of the next season. I have my sights set firmly on the short game this winter and only want to tighten a few swing issues up

I'm spending this winter working on my game more. I usual play every weekend as long as the course is open but not this winter. If its lashing down or water logged I'm not going to bother.

I plan on working hard this winter on my game too, but not too sure how!

With the wet and no doubt frozen greens how do u work on your short game, if u don't mind me asking. ... its an area i wsnt to really nail down but need to pointers as I find the ball does what it wants on landing! !

Cheers
