Now, here's a bonus.

I received a new V5 form in the post yesterday for one of my cars. The piece of paper curiously known as a "log book" (surely log sheet would be more appropriate!?) has been changed and re-issued in Red after the theft of some blank ones.

Anyway, it's good news, as I'm sure some of mine are lost, presumed M.I.A. and I was contemplating paying £25 to get a replacement one for one car at least. Not often something like this happens......bad luck DVLA, you've just lost a fortune on replacements.

Anyone else had one through?

I also seem to remember DVLA charging for photo licences when they came. I never bothered, and got one of those free soon enough.

Good news.

My understanding is that around 100,000 " blank "log books" were stolen and have been used to sell off "hookey" motors for sometime

The DVLA were instructed to change them

How about white MOT certs....

One of my cars was MOT'd the other day, in an effort to cut costs, DVLA no longer supply green certs, the garage gets to print them off themselves.
