Dragged the wife and son out of bed and we watched the eclipse to totality... approx 17 minutes ago when we decided it had 'all gone'. Probably be dead before another one is visible from my house. :p

Been out in the garden since just about the start and, many cups of tea and hot chocolate later, sat and watched the totality... 'til nephew decided he was too cold. I stayed out to look around at the stars on what is a perfect night for viewing (during totality, that is:)).

Wanted to stay up and watch the 'show' but at about one the calling of bed became too strong...
Evening out on the 'sauce' most probably didn't help...

Have had to make do with the pictures online...

I watched it too, but didn't really see it red during the totality. This is the third lunar eclipse I have seen, but the total solar eclipse of August 1999 was the best.

I used the photographers ephemeris to pin point an exact line of sight of the blood moon and picked out my monument. The Wallace Monument. I drove there at 2:30am in preparation. Got there in good time. Long exposure settings for the monument set and I was on my way.

A light fog breezed in on the night air and that was that idea up the swany lol. Back home and watched it from the back garden.
