Recommendations for a top

Played last weekend in continuous drizzle, the sort that doesn't really warrant full waterproofs and umbrella, but at the same time you'd be soaked if you just wore a cotton jumper. So my question is what tops would you recommend? Was thinking maybe a windvest (think that's what they are called - short sleeve job) or some sort of waterproof jumper if such a thing exists.

If you carry, you need full on wsterproofs, or the straps rub the water through the shoulders.
