Hi folks,

Paying for my in-laws to join us on hols in The Algarve and we'll be playing a bit of golf.

So, rank these in order, please:

Alto
Morgado
Alamos
Pinta
Gramacho

and is Boavista really worth €30 Euro more than these?

Cheers.

cant help too much. Ive only played the Morgado and Alamos which are on the same estate. The Morgado is longer but the Alamos is quirkier. On our last day we had a chance to play one again and all eight of us wanted to play the Alamos again. The clubhouse though is brilliant with great views over the Morgado.

PlYed pinta and gramacho loads, both good courses IMHO! Not that cheap though. Certainly not up there with the big named courses of the area, but you would be more than happy with both. Not played any of the others...

Cheers, gents.

So far then, it's Pinta, Gramacho and Morgado. I may treat them to Boavista too, if I can get a deal there.

played Portugal quite a bit Gramacho,Pinta and Morgado out of the list but if you can get a deal the Old Course(can be pricey) in Vilamoura is my favorite.

Of there in May, 18 of us playing Pinhal,Laguna and Millennium not sure what the courses are like but it should carnage as usual when we go away, we're staying in the Vila Gal Marina which looks nice and gets a good review. We're looking to play another game( well some of us) so some good suggestions there, think the Old Course and Victoria are about 125 euro for a game

No one has mentioned the Faldo at Almandoeira - stunning course, normally very quiet and often has great deals. My favourite Algarve course (and I used to have a place on Gramacho!)

I'll check it out, Gryffindor. Thanks.

The Old Course in Vilamoura is stunning, really fantastic course I can recommend highly. Its history makes it a different look and feel to a lot of the other courses in the area.
