As the sun was out today and i found it hard to keep track of the ball a few times who can recommend some new shades. Ive got a thin face and oakleys tend to make me look like brains off thunderbirds for those old enough to remember :D. Itried some Maui Jims some time ago and they fitted nicely buts whats the best lenses to use for golf? Ive got some sunwise i think they are with the interchangeable lenses that i won but have never worn because theyre too wide for my face.

I have a pair of Oakleys - in fact have 4 pairs of them - best sunglasses on the market IMO

Oakleys G30 lens seems to be the best golf specific lens out, but a lot depends on what light conditions you are playing in. Not all Oakleys are huge though - these seem to be a good fit for me, but I prefer general polarised lenses. Some styles are available in "Asian fit" with smaller frames for smaller heads.

Was after a pair of oakleys myself but to get prescription lenses put in would cost too much! pretty miffed off as I am unable to wear contact lenses!

even tried buying in the states but even over there still too much

+1, I have had g30 lenses for years, really good and are generally interchangeable within the frames. Oakley do the best range and the fit is really comfy. Oakley shoes are great too !! It helps when oakleys outlet store is 5 minutes away from the office.

Function 18 were doing some white half jackets for about £110 last week

It's sunglasses. Most shops stock them, any pair will do, they are only sunglasses! Go for the ones you like, some are £10 some are £100+

The world is your oyster...

Oakley Half Jackets. With other makes the frame distorts after a while, I've had my Oakley's for 10 years and they still fit perfectly. The lenses in Oakley's are superb as well. Easy to see in bright sunlight, and no problems when walking into dark shade to look for golf balls (as I'm quite often doing)
