recommend somewhere to stay. st Albans

I'm going to the ping pro am day on Tuesday but im traveling down the night before. Can anyone recommend a half decent place to rest my head

There is a Prem Inn about ten mins away from Centurion on the edge of Hemel Hempstead

More than welcome to stay at mine....got a spare en suite and it's about 20 mins away.

If you don't want to stay there, then Phil has already mentioned the Premier Inn in Hemel.. There's also a Holiday Inn about the same distance away ( approx 5 mins).

In St Albans, you've got The White Hart which is good. More upmarket places include Sopwell House and St Michaels Manor.

St Albans is a cracking place to stay if you want a few beers....hundreds of pubs!!...... And much nicer than Hemel.....

Another Prem Inn at South Mimms.

Only one I've claimed the 'perfect sleep guarantee' at and no problem. Central heating was knackered and it was too cold - not likely to be a problem currently!

Also saw a bunch of idiots try to kill themselves in a stolen beemer - hitting a parked 18-wheeler!

So an 'interesting' place!

That's a very generous offer. If only I'd read this before i booked a non refundable room at the premiere inn.
