About to leave for the course and have a game and I see the sun is shining and dare I say it quite warm!

So my thoughts turn to Summer shoes... I'm looking for light and comfortable not bothered about waterproof either.

I saw a pair of Adidas trainer things in Sports Direct for about 40ish quid through the week and quite liked them but didn't bother as too trainer like but the meshy stuff at the front will be lovely in the summer... I think :)

Anyway may even go spikeless...

I currently have adidas shoes and i will never buy another pair. They are comfortable, but leak like a sieve! My last pair were adidas aswell and i thought that new ones would be better but they weren't. I'll probably buy some Ecco's next.

Do people never return shoes that are faulty/leaky etc? If you have done a reasonable job of cleaning your shoes then there no reason to not use the warranty period to your advantage ... hence why a good purchase is one with 2 years waterproof warranty.

Ecco make great shoes. I would look at their street range.

+1 from me. Played in some Ecco streets today and comfy as anything. Yes they are relatively expensive but in my opinion worth it. But next time get them at the start of the year when the new ranges come in and the old ranges are discounted.

I like the look of the adidas trainer version. If the OP wants a summer shoe then surely leaking shoes won't be an issue playing on dry(ish) fairways so for the money some of the adidas of FJ versions look good value

Yeah, that's correct... lots of different options pointed out too!

I'll have a look at these options and let you know but do you not think Ecco's are over priced? I was hoping to spend max £70... less is obviously best :)
