As the title suggests, I'm looking for an app (iOS) to record stats on this year.

I had planned on using scoresaver2, but I very rarely use my laptop these days and when it becomes a pain to fire it up to enter a round I know I'll end up not doing it.

I'm not after anything as sophisticated as strokes gained, just bog standard boring stuff like fairways, gir, putts, scrambling etc.

I don't mind paying a couple of quid for one that'll do what I want, but I won't take a subscription out, and I don't need it to be GPS or anything else like that.

Just enter a round when I get home by telling it where I hit the ball and what I scored.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Funnily enough that was the first one I looked at when I searched earlier today.

Looks perfect apart from the fact that you can only record one round per month with the free version.
5 rounds per month is £3/mth and unlimited rounds is £8/mth.

Shame because it looks ideal.

Golf shake have a handicap tracking app which is free I think - also you can use it to track FIR, GIR, Putts etc also but rehired you to track manually and add after the round.

Thanks Mark, I'll take a look.

Entering manually afterwards is what I'm after, as it becomes a chore trying to do it while I'm playing.

I use GolfShake, and love it. However, the app they have just released was downloaded and subsequently deleted within a couple of days. It was awful.

Golfshot Lite. Lets you record and save unlimited scorecards. Each data point capture feeds a stats engine that is excellent as well as very visual and meaningful.

The above is an example of the Fairways hit data. You get GIR, Putts per round (oddly I take less putts when I dont hit GIR), saves and scrambling as well as overall scoring graphs.

I use the swing by swing app on my iPhone.

The he free version does everything I want it to, there is a "pro" version which you have to pay an annual fee for I think but the extras weren't worth it in my opinion

I use the Nike 360 app. It's simple and easy to use without being over bearing and too stat intensive. And it's free!

I got golfshake and golfshot.

Golfshot seemed like a long-winded way of entering a round, more suited to doing it as you play.
Golfshake was a lot easier and is the one I'll stick with for now unless I find something better.

It's not very in depth, but looks to do the basics pretty well.
