Evening gents, hope your golf went well today if played.

Can anyone recommend me a stand bag of decent quality with a minimum of 8 dividers.. Currently have a Cleveland bag with 6 dividers and all I can hear when I walk is clubs clinking and also it now has a hole in near a pocket. This bag is a year old and not of the best quality.

All thoughts and preferences welcome

Bought myself a Ping Hoofer with 14 dividers. Light and looks good.

It was a red & white ping Hoofer I had before the abomination I have just now. It was a great bag with retractable strap. Gutted when I caught it in a fence and ripped it. May have look for another

Sun mountain all the way I have a 35 been great for carrying

I'm in my mid 50ties and a newbie to golf and carrying

This all might change in the summer and go back to trolley

The new titleist tour stand bag is a pretty thing and fantastic quality! Not as many dividers as you asked for but the most robust and stable legs system I have seen so far.

I bought one a few weeks ago, superb bag with excellent build quality and looks the biz.
As already said it doesn't have 14 dividers but I can live with that.

Don't get one with Sldr or speedrockets as you'll be out of date in 3 months!!
Mizuno aero looks modern and good prices??

I really like the Stewart golf 'W' series waterproof bags. Not the cheapest but really are waterproof so good for all year round also also look pretty cool (to my eyes anyway!).

As an aside, I've recently got a set of the neoprene club head covers that have massively reduced the 'golfer coming' sound as I walk along and also make them quieter in the boot as I leave them in the car 'just in case'.

Sun Mountain H2NO (not the one with the gawdy graphics on the side)
Good:
Waterproof
6 dividers so minimal chatter
Comfy backpack strap design
Lots of storage space
Fits on to a powakaddy twinline without rotating for the times you want to use a trolley
Stand stability and the mechanism is very good at automatically popping out which was a complaint of the Ping freestyle I used to have.
Pretty light and feels lighter due to backpack strap design
Bad
Accessing pockets when carrying isn't great due to 'sealed' zip design and back pack straps
Drinks pouch is a bit tight for certain sports bottles
