A "nice" course would be preffered but not too expensive as muggins here has to pay!!

There are many around Leeds that you should be able to get on.
Middleton, Sth Leeds, Gotts Park, Temple Newsom, Headingley, Roundhay, Garforth, Moortown, Moor Allerton, Alwoodley and many more. Also plenty just beyond the outskirts of the city.

Cheers vig but:
Middleton - shocking course
South Leeds - possibly, played here before and is a nice course
Gotts Park - way too short
Tempsey - my local course, want somewhere nicer
Headingley - possibly
Roundhay - only 9 hole
Garforth - possibly
Moortown - too expensive
Moor Allerton - too expensive
Alwoodley - too expensive

Some of the prices for golf in Leeds are shocking, the same price to play Alwoodley as it is to play The Brabazon, whats all that about???

Alwoodly is worth the extra money.Great course!!

Played Moortown in the English Amatuer and it is a lovely course but I never fell in love with it and wouldnt pay the money to play it.

There the only 2 courses I have played in Leeds.
