Morning all, I played on Friday evening at a short nine hole course.

First hole is a 260 yard par 4. A well struck drive for me goes 200/220 depending on conditions, this time wind was behind and the ball ended up on the green some 30 foot for the pin.

Second eagle putt of my life and first on a par four. Hit the putt well for length but slope took if 8 foot left. Up hill birdie putt lipped out leaving 3 foot for par. Down hill and left to right.

Left it on the lip, four putt bogie - as a 28 handicapper I would usually be happy with a five.

Lost a ball on the next and another four putt on the card too...

Round slowly improved but went round the par 35 course in 55 - if I could remotely putt it would have been 10 less, easily.

I've been saying for a while I want a putting lesson but not being a mamber anywhere I don't have a relationship with a pro.

Lessons are available at a local driving range but no puttign green.

Help...

Cheers guys, appreciated.

Wakefield is probably the most convenient for me to go to from home.

Vig - are you at Mid Yorkshire?

Garforth is near my folks so that could be an option too. (I can visit but have an excuse not to stay too long!)
