During my lesson yesterday I tried a new driver as my pro thinks that I would benefit from a heavier, stiffer driver.
I tried a Srixon X shafted one, which had a really heavy head, very stiff low launch shaft which I loved!
Unfortunately it was also £300, which I can't justify, therefore could anyone recommend a driver that is a couple of seasons old that I can try and find used, budget is £50-£100
Cheers!

I love my Taylor Made R1, which I picked up second hand in almost perfect condition for £100. Tried a friend's TM Jetspeed driver the other day and thought it was rubbish in comparison!

It is really about the shaft, so you could look for an older model available second hand with a stiff heavy shaft. The Titleist 910 or 913 might be worth a look, as both should be dropping in value with the new 915. The D3 head is a nicer and more neutral head, in my opinion, and you can buy the shafts separately. I would be a little wary of something that was both very stiff and very heavy. Many Tour pros have the same iron shafts as you but use 60 - 70 g shafts in X flex. A few use heavy shafts, such as Sergio, but he has a very fast tempo swing with lots of whip at the bottom.

Something like the Ahina shaft, 72g in X should fit the bill.

I'd personally find a new common head where you can change shafts your self, as Ethan suggested something like a 910/913. From there eBay shop and swap until you find the shaft that's best for you.

I did this with the amp,

cleveland classic custom XL brand new for less than £130 and very underestimated.

I have that too, I would say a brand new Benross has got very little against it from what I hear, worth a go!

If you have no idea what driver I suggest getting some assessment by a trackman or alike. Biggest step to improving driving is getting the impact correct, you can hit any (and all) drivers poorly!

Shaft has very little to do with it unless you are going from the unknown.

I can sell you a titleist 910d2 9.5 degree with ahina stiff 72 shaft for £50 plus postage.
Or a ping G25 9.5 with ping tour xstiff shaft for £100 plus postage.

Both good options and in your budget.

Why not try buying a different shaft for your Stage 2 RBZ. Plenty of shafts on fleebay with the TM adaptor already fitted. Best thing is if you do not like the shaft you can always resell the shaft and get your money back.
