Went out late this afternoon.

Front nine scored 10. 2 huge blobs and the rest were gross 5s and 7s. I was ready to give this rubbish up and ask for my cheque back for the Belfry!

Back nine scored 21. Drove 260 with the 3 wood (measured on GPS) on the par 5 18th, and kept it together to gross par it for 4 points!

Good grief this game is so swings and roundabouts. :D

Just like Peter Gabriel said mate....."Dont give up, you still have friends".

I've always said that golf is a game where you can shoot 120 and hit a 40ft putt, 300yrd drive or chip in, i.e. one shot or a couple of shots can make the round.

Well done for scoring 21 on the back nine.

Played a few holes this evening as art of team practise for our forthcoming interclub game. My driving recently haas been poor. Spend a large amount of time on the range last night and tonight my driving was first class. Hopefully this will continue ove the weekend as i am playing Sat, Sun and Mon---wife away in Malaga, kids 20 & 15 dont need minding, so time for golf----happy days.
