Totally agree. All that will happen now is that Bryson et al will have their caddy transferring the old info into the new books. Do away with them altogether if you really want players to return to the old skills.Looks very difficult to police.
A simpler solution would be to do away with greens books completely for professional tournaments.
Doesn't BdC use a Trackman (or similar) on the practice green to gauge the speed prior to his round? Wil this still be allowed? Looking at the new rule, I suspect not.
