Morning all

I have something to send out for reader test panel which is rather specific... if you are someone who regularly wears sunglasses when playing golf and would like to test out a new pair for the magazine could you send me an email...paul_o'hagan@ipcmedia.com

Obviously we haven't had a great deal of sunshine recently but hopefully that will change in the next few weeks! As this is a not a club test I am happy for anyone who featured in the reader test in '08 to enter. As I mentioned the test would make more of an interesting comparison if you already wear sunglasses when playing.

Cheers

as a newbie to the site, am i forbidden to enter? i reqularly wear oakley M frames as i get very watery itchy eyes if i dont. people think i wear them to just look cool.

a new less ostintacious (sp?) set of eyewear might save me some grief from mates who think i am a ponce.

If they are to help you putt they are no good to me. I wear sunnies all the time playing golf, but take them off to putt.

Hi, Living in Spain is a perfect place to test Sunglasses I wear Oakly glasses all the time to play in find my eyes are less strained and can see the ball both on the ground and in the air much betterer.

I play in sunglasses when it's sunny, so Mid to end August
I generally lift them on to my head to play the shot as I can't see the ball with them on.

I guess I need a different lens :D

I rgularly wear sunglasses when I can be bothered to use my contacts, though get back into the habit as the weather improves. Was using my new prescription reactolites today & think I may well be starting to use my contacts by the time I go down to Celtic manor, so would certainly be interesting to try out some new shades to compare to my usual choices.

Does this mean the Golf Monthly is assuring us that we will have a proper summer this year with lots of sunshine ?

If so that is a major step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned.

As always i do wear sun glasses for playing but find them unsuitable if trying to find a ball in the semi rough or such.
The only pair I use at persent are prescription one to read the scoresavers and distance markers.
would love to try some if they can be better than those i have.
chris :)

I normally bypass the sunglasses rack at AG but this thread caused me to pause; Sundogs - nice

now can you get a prescription lens for them?

Sundogs are great, bought a pair last year as seemed quality whilst not costing the same as Oakleys etc, very happy with them
