I know the taylormade drivers aren't everyone cup of tea but I'm looking for a 3wood to match either or my drivers. Ive been to the range and have hit both old and new and just like my drivers I honestly can't split them

What is suprising is the second hand value. I've been watching both on a popular auction site and they sell for pretty much the same money. So either the stage 2 looses a fortune in depreciation or the RBZ is selling for more than it should be.

One thing is very noticeable though. There are a lot of numpties like me who are drawn to the words 'tour' on the bats and end up selling them on when things don't go well :D

The tour versions do normally have better shafts. the original RBZ fairway woods were epic, i have the new ones, but cant imagine that they are "that" much better than the originals in all honesty.

I have the stage 2 hydrids an awesome bit if kit! There are some good clearance prices on the original green Rbz at present getting ready for SDLR fairways and hybrids. The tour version do have better shafts and are adjustable rather the fixed shaft. I had an original fairway didn't like it yeah the face was "hot" But it was also wayward!

The difference Between stage 1 and 2 is 10 yards further "ier" surely.. :ears:
