Raise a glass for Ol' Moe

Have watched many a clip of the guy ,the establishment didn't like him as he was different a super talented guy, some say alot of it was urban myth.

If he was a teen in the game today he would have a close circle of people to protect him and he would do very well, back then he was so exposed and someone so vulnerable was never going to succeed.

Good vid. Wonder how much of it is true though...there are these kind of stories for other sports.

Didn't play well when he turned pro...because he really wasn't as good as the rest?

I think getting a barman to tell the story tells us something.

I would imagine there have been a few tall tales told along the way, not by moe himself, but from watching many clips of him like yourself, what is obviously true was that he was an extremely talented and extemely unique man. I would definately go along with the autistic claim made about him, though his family deny it. With the onus more on power nowadays I doubt there has ever or will ever be a more consistant golfer than moe. Watching him play buckets of balls out of a bunker, from decent lies, plugged lies, just in or against the lip and landing them all on or around the green is unbelievable and what did he have, something like 16 hole in ones.
