For the first but not for the last time this winter I am sure.

Should have been playing in an open at Manchester GC but it was postponed by the weather, although surprising under the circumstances as our place was open.

Lymm tomorrow hopefully, at least its stopped raining.

I'm not surprised Lou. The rain it's put down around here today has been impressive.. I thought about playing 9 holes but I played it safe and stayed at home instead...

Our top 9 heathland holes dont flood and the bottom 9 drain well so you should be fine tomoz Lou

Was meant to be playing Accrington yesterday but changed to Leasowe as forecast was better in the afternoon,got a good soaking on the 2nd hole for 5 mins but then cleared up and course played well was a good shout to swap course.....

Always a shame when the weather wins but sometimes I think there's no merit at all struggling in horrendous conditions on a course that should be shut. Hopefully none of us will have too many days like this over the winter

We did well, it started to rain as we were playing the last, Junior was right, the course was in good nick despite all the rain this week.

Teed off at 9 this morning, rain started after 2 holes, got really heavy on 4 and puddles on the green made the course unplayable by 5 and we walked in. Have to try again tomorrow

Winter??? It's only the first week of October for goodness sake! I've spent all day in shirt sleeves cutting grass, and the leaves on the trees are only starting to turn.
